My research focuses on setting up present-day global mantle numerical models based on physical parameters inferred from seismic tomography, faults database, and plate motion. Find out more about me here.

I am studying the influence of phase transitions on mantle plumes and convection. My interest also includes incorporating petrological and geochemical data into modelling.

My research is concerned with elucidating the nature of the X-Discontinuity beneath the Hawaiian hotspot. I use ASPECT to model the plume ascent and the materials entrained in it, and then eventually compare these quantitative results with Seismology data. More details about my project may be found here.
